This Athlon Optics 6-24x50 Midas TAC Rifle Scope is a prime example of everything that Athlon is doing right in the optics world. The rugged Midas is shockproof, weatherproof, and fogproof and best of all, the first focal plane ability makes changing holdovers when you change magnification a thing of the past.
The advantages of first focal plane scopes cannot be understated. As you zoom into your target, the etched glass reticle zooms in with you. This means you can set it up once, and never change your holdover at ANY magnification. Get your scope zeroed in, and zoom and boom! Once you land your first long-range hit with this scope, there’s no going back to second focal plane optics again!
This Midas variant features an APRS2 FFP MIL Reticle. This unique system is designed for precision competition shooting and lets you quickly determine your proper holdover position and windage corrections down to 0.2 mil. The floating 0.03 center dot draws a shooter’s vision right on target for fast engagement.

This scope provides great glass at it's price point. Performs well above its price point and seems to track very well.

Everything about this scope! I zeroed with this scope very quickly. I have only shot a few times during very poor weather but the scope performed well.
Things I would have changed:I have no changes to recommend.
What others should know:This is a quality scope. I have not had an opportunity to use this scope much. From my limited experience I am confident this was a good purchase for me.
