PowerBoostThis function ensures reliability and eliminates the need to expensively oversize switched mode power supplies by delivering 200% of the power supply's 10A rated current at 48V DC for up to 4 seconds - necessary for starting up or switching capacitive loads such as valve clusters or motors.TopBoostTo trip high-speed magnetic miniature circuit breakers, current significantly higher than the rated current are required for a period of 10 to 12 milliseconds. 787-835 units can deliver 60A for up to 25ms â the faulty circuit can be shut off within milliseconds during a short-circuit. This increases the availability of the entire power supply while fulfilling EN 60204-1 requirements regarding earthing in control circuits.Slim Design and Versatile Mounting OptionsAll EPSITRON® PRO power supplies are housed in a slim enclosure that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, saving up to 50% more cabinet space by optimising space utilisation.
