Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai - the successor to the 7600i Ai - excels due to its improved hardware and the optimised software adaptation to SilverFast® 8. The scanner has a resolution of 7200 dpi. The high-quality optics enable pictures with depth of focus even in dark areas. A built-in infrared channel removes dust and scratches on the templates. With IT8 calibration, it is possible to achieve colour-accurate and detailed pictures. OpticFilm 8200i Ai and SilverFast software are a perfect hardware and software combination. Image processing is especially easy thanks to the intelligent automatic functions of the SilverFast software, which makes excellent scan results possible. The dynamic range is extended thanks to SilverFast Multi-Exposure®. This eliminates noise and improves visibility of details in dark areas. SilverFast iSRD® uses the device's built-in infrared channel to remove dust and scratches from the template surface. The automatic IT8 Calibration of SilverFast ensures calibration of the scanner in just 2 minutes. The WorkflowPilot® guides the user through the scanning process step by step.
