Commercial Iron Removal Water Filters are designed for outstanding pefrormance, and are ideal for removing iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide ( sulfur, rotten egg smell ) from water where high-flow residential or commercial application is desired. These custom-built units are robust and easy to install. They can be used with standard Fleck backwash electronic controler, or with a mechanical control. Heavy duty Poly Glass mineral tank is strong and weather resistant, and are also engineered specifically for commercial or industrial use. Units with electronic control valve are set up with adjusting backwash controlers. Our Commercial Iron Removal Water Filters use iron removing media along with patented Eagle Redox Alloy to significantly increase lifespan of the system and prevent bacteria contamination. Eagle Redox Alloy is a copper-zinc formula that is completely safe to operate and meets EPA and FDA standards for level of zinc and copper in potable water. As a side benefit, redox consistently removes 99% of free chlorine, and also removes lead, mercury, iron and hydrogen sulfate. The media inhibits bacteria growth (fungi, algae and mold) and reduces lime scale, mold, and fungi. throughout the entire unit. Available water flow is between 14 GPM and 205 GPM (gallons per minute, peak at 280 GPM). 3 cubic foot tank: 14 GPM flow, 1 inch water line; 4 cubic foot tank: 20 GPM flow, 1.5 inch water line; 7 cubic foot tank: 35 GPM flow, 1.5 inch water line; 10 cubic foot tank: 60 GPM flow, 2 inch water line; 15 cubic foot tank: 75 GPM flow, 2 inch water line; 20 cubic foot tank: 185 GPM flow, 3 inch water line; 30 cubic foot tank: 200 GPM flow, 3 inch water line; 40 cubic foot tank: 205 GPM flow, 3 inch water line; All units can be assembled with or without automatic backwash valve.
