AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 DJ controller
The AlphaTheta Corporation presents the DDJ-GRV6, a 4-channel DJ controller, which is compatible with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro.With the DDJ-GRV6 the drum parts can be remixed easily and remixes created during the running operation. This is provided by the new groove circuit feature, which is available in rekordbox. It allows to change the music in a way that is impossible with a conventional DJ controller. Simply press one of the special buttons to exchange the drum part of a track with a beat or break of a completely different genre during playback. In order to make the sound more unique, further effects can be added. When used with Serato DJ Pro, the DDJ-GRV6 can also change and separate stems with the Stems-FX function.With a layout taken over by CDJ + DJM-Setups, the DDJ-GRV6 gives you the feel of the club standard equipment. This makes it easier and more familiar to change to the DJ booth later on, since you immediately feel at home. The controller features a Smart rotary selector and the discover function. With this one can search tracks quickly and intuitively and can also select them. Since the DDJ-GRV6 can be used together with a PC, Mac or mobile devices, it is possible to hang up immediately with your own favorite devices.Groove Circuit: Change drum parts freely and create new remixesWith the groove circuit function one can create remixes very easily by pressing the corresponding keys. This way, the drum parts of a track - even during playback - are replaced by different drum loops. This means that you can change to different genres in no time at all and easily create unique remixes. The DJ can easily create fills, build-ups and break-downs by putting effects on the drum parts. The drum parts can be freely modified for innovative and creative live remixes.*Groove-Circuit functionality is available on record box for Mac/Windows only.*For rekordbox for iOS/Android, the function is linked to the sampler and others.*For Serato DJ Pro, the function is linked to Stems FX (read more for more information).Groove circuit features:Drum swapWith this feature, the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck are replaced by other drum loops at the push of a button - even during playback. To try out this function directly after unpacking the DDJ-GRV6, a free package with 40 loops in different genres is available for download.Drum roll/transIdeal for creating drum rolls spontaneously or for adding fills to transitions. This function is also very useful when creating tracks if you use the roll or trans effect on drum parts.Drum releaseBy applying Release-FX to drum parts, breaks are created very easily.CaptureThis will only extract and record the drum parts of the track loaded on the deck, so that they can be added to another track later.Layout is based on the latest club standard DJ equipmentThe DDJ-GRV6 has large jog wheels, which are suitable for scratching Ideal, eight performance pads which are positioned via the jog wheels - just like the flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player - and beat-FX from the DJM-A9 in the mixer section. All this provides a gaming experience similar to that of club standard equipment. The controller enables dynamic performances and perfect club sets by combining expressive scratching with pad and effect techniques.Smart rotary selector and discover function revolutionize track selectionThe new Smart rotary selector on the DDJ-GRV6 enables the tilting up/down and left/right as well as conventional turning and pressing with the use of rekordbox for Mac/Windows ver. 7. Left/right tilt provides intuitive navigation through the media browser, tree view, and track list, while up/down tilt enables quick navigation through play lists and collections. This means that the desired track can be found quickly, no matter how large the music library is. One gets immediate access to the title suggestions function by pressing the Discover-button. You can discover old favorites again or learn new songs.*The Discover feature is only available in rekordbox for Mac/Windows.Remix of performances with Stems FX in Serato DJ Pro The DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, which contains a Stems-FX function. This allows you to express yourself musically by applying effects such as roll, trans, echo out and delay to the individual stems of a track - drums, bass, vocals or melody. The DDJ-GRV6 is delivered with an overlay sheet so that the button labels for STEMS FX are suitable and the operation becomes even easier.Compatible with a wide range of devices: Connect to a PC, Mac, mobile device and more The DDJ-GRV6 works not only with rekordbox for Mac/Windows, but also with rekordbox for iOS/Android.
